CAP Prize 2021 | Winners Announcement
The five winners of the 10th CAP Prize for Contemporary African Photography 2021 will be announced on Saturday 22 September, 5 pm at photo basel – international art fair. The event is open to the public. Watch the event on the CAP Prize Facebook live stream.
These 25 shortlisted artists – in alphabetical order – were chosen from approximately 800 applications to the CAP Prize 2021 by a panel of 21 international judges. The CAP Prize is the international Prize for Contemporary African Photography awarded annually since 2012 to five photographers whose works were created on the African continent, or which engage with the African diaspora.
The call for the CAP Prize 2022 will open on 7 November 2021. The shortlisted artists were chosen by an international panel of judges.
